Crèche (Stevenage Only)
Happy Days Crèche – founded in July 2003
Our Stevenage crèche provides free early years care, enabling parents to access treatment for their addictions and support to help improve their parenting skills and relationships with their children.
Our sessions per day from 10:15 in the morning and then again in the afternoon from 12:45, but all parents are encouraged to attend the lunch club to enjoy lunch with their children in our crèche. From the 1st November 2017 we will be open Mondays and Fridays throughout the year, except bank holidays.
As a staff team we are very passionate about our work.
We create a happy, enjoyable and safe environment where your child/children are free to play and explore, whilst being cared for. We believe every child is a special individual, each one bringing their unique character and experience to the crèche. Consequently, we tailor the activities and themes to the children’s needs and abilities. We have a free play, story, song, and snack time, a physical play and a circle time to finish. We enjoy outings to the local park, to the zoo and to the pantomime at Christmas.
Our staff are fully trained to meet your child’s individual needs and if you have any questions regarding your child’s progress, please feel free to ring or pop in for a chat.
“The crèche is amazing. Without it I wouldn’t have attended The Living Room. The staff helped me so much with my children and supported me throughout my social services case. I always felt safe leaving my children there and they absolutely loved it.” Graduate of The Living Room
A huge thank you to the crèche’s funders:
